Qualified instructors

Fully Qualified male and female driving instructors

A fully qualified instructor (Approved Driving Instructor) is someone who is registered with the Driving Standards Agency as having passed rigorous DSA examinations in driving theory, advanced motoring and in teaching ability.

He/she will have had a CRB check (Criminal Records check). Each qualified instructor must display a green octagonal badge on the windscreen of their tuition vehicle. Furthermore every ADI is checked periodically by a DSA Supervising Examiner for continued quality of teaching, and is graded between 1 and 6, (6 being the highest grade). Note that if you see a pink triangular badge in a driving school car windscreen it means this is a trainee instructor, (PDI) and whilst they may be offering cheaper lessons, they will not have the expertise of a fully qualified driving instructor (ADI

At FastrackPass our instructors are all ADIs and are predominantly grades 5 and 6 with years of experience of teaching people to drive. Our Intensive Driving Courses are offered in most areas of the country, with each instructor having local knowledge so as to be able to help the pupil to familiarise with the general area in which he/she will be sitting the driving test. This doesn't mean teaching just test routes - the aim is to enable each pupil to be prepared to meet the demands of our busy UK roads with confidence, with a structured course including all the manoeuvres, how to deal with roundabouts, dual carriageways, both urban and rural roads.

Tuition is in a suitable dual controlled car which is comprehensively insured. If you want to learn in an automatic car rather than a manually geared car, please be sure to mention this when you enquire about our courses, as automatic tuition is available in selected areas only.
